Four members of the lodge completed a 42mile walk over two days, in aid of Minerva. A local charity based in Hexham. The walk raised £1,502. Special thanks to all generously donated to this worthy cause. Hextoldesham Lodge donated £500 to Tynedale Junior Rowing Club, to help support training and competition costs. The club travel throughout England and most recently were competing in France.

Members of Hextoldesham Lodge, carried out a sponsored walk in aid of Rosie`s Corner. This Tynedale charity provides services for disadvantaged children in the Tynedale Area. They work from a small unit in Burn Lane Hexham, entirely dependent on charitable donations. On Wednesday 16th December 2023 the lodge held a charity race and raffle night. A great night was had by all who attended. raising the sum of £952.00. Rosie`s Corner is a local charity helping disadvantaged children in Hexham and West Northumberland Area. On our November regular meeting we had a visit from W.Bro Bob Bruce PProvJGW of St Anthony’s Lodge 4423. Who gave the lodge presentation on The Work of the Great North Air Ambulance Service. This photo shows presentation of cheque for £2,239.00 the final total was £4,000. This was for West Northumberland Food Bank. Carried out a sponsored walk from Settle to Hexham, total of 88 miles, the walk was part of Wainwrights Way.

We also raised £4,000 for Chrysalis Club, A local charity that provides activities and support for our members who are living with dementia and ongoing memory problems, and their families, friends and support workers. We held a indoor family fun day followed by a social race night.
